Important note:

  • It is recommended to avoid single checked baggage exceeding 23kg(50lbs).
  • Baggage over 32kg(70lbs) must be repacked before they can be accepted as checked baggage.
  • 158 cm/62 inches of exterior dimension (length + width + height) is recommended.
  • If  Free Checked Baggage is over as provided, passenger is required to buy for upgrading their Checked Baggage at the airport.


II. CARRY-ON BAGGAGE


Carry-on baggage includes hand-carry baggage, personal items, special items, and cabin seat baggage.


a. Hand baggage

b. Personal Items
 

In addition 7kg of hand baggage, Passengers are allowed to bring extra a small handbag (include below bags) with a maximum dimension of 40cm x 30cm x 10cm (16×12×4 inch) or total dimensions (the length, width, and height combined) of 80cm (32 inches), including wheels, handles, and side pockets):

- Laptop, personal purse, small backpack and briefcase

- Personal clothing

- Light camera and camera bag

- Rain gear (umbrella or raincoat)

- Food and drink

- Reading materials

- Infant passengers can bring food and nappies within 5 Kg


III. PREPAID BAGGAGE

IV. SPECIAL BAGGAGE


List of Special Baggages as follows. Please note that some special items may be permitted to be carried into the cabin and not be considered to be the allowance of hand-carry baggage or personal item:
 

Item Regulation
Walking Cane/Crutches/Prosthetic Device/Mobility Aids

Canes/crutches can be stored under the seats in the same row when they can be placed flat on the floor and do not interfere with the passenger path.

Passengers can take one wheelchair into the cabin. If there is sufficient space in the cabin, the cabin crew can assist in placing the mobility aids in the cabin If the local airport allows and the size of non-battery wheelchairs/mobility aids can enter the cabin without hindering the seats. 

Small Musical Instruments

1. Small musical instruments that measure 100×36×23cm and under 7Kg and can be stowed properly under the front seat or in an overhead compartment

2. Hand-carried musical instruments which do not meet the dimensions of the above regulation will proceed as checked baggage 

Medical or Assistive Equipment

1. Medical devices or assistive equipment carried into the cabin should be stowed properly under the front seat or in an overhead compartment.

2. Medical certificates should be provided by the passenger if the onboard medical devices will be used during the flight.

CARES (Child Aviation Restraint System) Safety Harness

Passengers traveling with infants need to purchase an extra seat for an infant using CARES, which will be seated next to the passenger. Infants/Children with CARES shall not be located in seats that will obstruct access to regular or emergency exits or interfere with an emergency path. Passengers should pre-advise at the time of booking for seat arrangement in advance.

Infant's Carrying Basket or Fully Collapsible Stroller

For each infant/child, one infant’s carrying basket or fully collapsible stroller can be brought into the cabin as carry-on baggage, which cannot be used during flight.

Car Safety Seat

The size of the car safety seat must meet the restriction of the cabin seat.

Travel Gadgets (Bedbox, Fly-tot, or Plane Pal)

Must not cause damage to any facility or personnel onboard the aircraft.

Must not affect the convenience and comfort of other passengers. For example, impede the reclining range of the seat in front of you.

Must not be used during the aircraft take-off, taxiing, or landing.

Valuable Items Cash, financial documents, jewelry, cameras, cellphones, portable electronic devices, and other valuables should be kept on the passenger’s personal belongings or in the carry-on bags, which will be considered as carry-on baggage allowance. Items should be stowed properly and meet the regulations.
Fragile Ite

Carried items like computer screens, vases, and framed paintings should be well packed and be able to withstand normal handling. e.g., Packing with carton boxes or foam to prevent broken glass from spallation. Items should be placed properly in the overhead bin.

Odoriferous Items To maintain service quality and the rights of all passengers, items or foods with a strong smell (e.g., durian) cannot be accepted as cabin baggage or checked baggage.

V. Items unacceptable as Baggage


You are not allowed to bring in the baggage: 

Explosives: Fireworks/Ammunition/Flares

Gases: Gases/Scuba Tanks/Butane/Propane/Lighter fuels

Flammable Liquids: Gasoline/Paints/Kerosene

Flammable Solids: Charcoal

Oxidizing substances & Organic Peroxides: Bleaches/Oxygen Generator Chemicals

Toxic & Infectious Substances: Infectious Substances/Poisons/Arsenic/Cyanides/Insecticides

Radioactive Materials: adioactive Items

Corrosives: Hydrochloric Acids/Wet Batteries/Mercury

Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods: Magnetized Materials/Large Speakers


VI. Right to refuse carriage


The carrier may refuse to carry as Baggage the items described in Article IV, and we may refuse further carriage of any such items upon discovery that it is included in your Baggage. Unless advance arrangements for its carriage have been made with us, we may carry on later flights Baggage, which is in excess of the applicable free allowance. 

The carrier may refuse to accept Baggage as Checked Baggage unless it is properly and securely packed in suitcases and suitable containers to ensure safe carriage with ordinary care in handling.
